A Space to Relate & Be Understood

A simple wooden chair in a bright, uncluttered room, offering a sense of calm and openness.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or burned out.

Maybe you managed in the past, but now everything feels heavier. Strategies that once helped don’t offer the same support. Tasks that seem simple for others feel confusing or draining.

You might be moving through a transition that isn’t unfolding the way you expected. Or you may be trying to keep pace while feeling like you’re quietly falling behind.

If any of this feels familiar, you are not alone.

This is a place where you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and find steady support that respects your lived experience.

  • Neurodiversity-affirming counseling for autism, ADHD, or learning differences

  • Neuropsychological or diagnostic clarification for yourself or your child

  • Tools for emotional and sensory regulation

  • Support for anxiety, worry, or overwhelm

  • Guidance around executive functioning challenges

  • Parent coaching grounded in collaboration and respect

  • Trauma-informed care that honors your pace

  • Space to explore identity, burnout, or masking

What Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy Means

Neurodiversity-affirming care respects the unique way each person thinks, feels, and moves through the world. It centers strengths, reduces shame, and honors the realities of navigating a largely neurotypical environment.

This approach focuses on understanding your brain, not changing who you are. Together, we explore what supports your well-being and what helps daily life feel more manageable.

Hi, I'm Dr. Liz Bisi

Hi, I'm Dr. Liz

Finding the right fit in a therapist or evaluator can feel overwhelming. You may want someone who understands both the clinical side and the lived experience of navigating a complex world. My work is shaped by years of specialized training and a deep respect for the many ways people move through life.

I bring a steady, compassionate presence to this work. I understand the challenges that come with balancing multiple roles, managing sensory or emotional overwhelm, and trying to make sense of patterns that have been hard to name.

Above all, I want you to know:

  • You are not too much.

  • Your needs make sense.

  • What feels hard is genuinely hard.

  • Support should meet you where you are.

My Approach

Care here is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. We move at a pace that feels steady for you. Together, we explore what supports your well-being and strengthen the tools that help you navigate daily life with more clarity and confidence.

If therapy or assessment feels like it could be a good fit, you’re welcome to schedule a free consultation so we can connect.
